What is KEEP TALKING TO HIM?
Suicide is the biggest killer of men under 50. Take that in for a minute....I know it is an accurate statistic but whenever I read it I still can't believe it. I won't believe we can't reverse this and I can't go through life and do nothing about tyring to impact it.
Keep Talking to Him is HPY's cause to help prevent male suicide by encouraging more conversations and helping people feel more confident having them.
There are men all around us carrying pressures they don't know how to talk about.
Work. Money. Relationships. Parenthood. Identity. Loneliness. Failure. The expectation that they should simply cope. Sometimes the person struggling most is the person nobody is worried about.
Keep Talking to Him is a reminder to notice. To ask. To ask again. And, when somebody starts talking, to really listen.
Keep asking.
Keep listening.
Keep showing up.
Keep talking to him.
Our next challenge.
On 27 September 2026, I'm strapping my running shoes on and running the Nottingham Half Marathon to spread the message of Keep Taking to Him.
I'll be running with Keep Talking to Him on my back because every conversation it starts is part of the point, to start more life-saving conversations.
The half marathon isn't the end goal.
It's the start of the journey to £1 million and doing all we can to reverse the statistic.
